About Pasta-topia

Circumnavigate the delicious world of pasta with this one-of-a-kind, illustrated cookbook.

Californian-born Deborah Kaloper lays down the law with over 60 incredible recipes, from rustic Italian classics to New World fusions. Each of the chapters in Pasta-topia is based on pasta shape, namely: Long Pasta, Short-Cut Pasta, Flat and Ribbon-Cut Pasta, Filled Pasta and Gnocchi. Satisfy the whole family with recipes for Spaghetti and Meatballs, Traditional Macaroni e Cheese. Then experiment with the really long and fun-sounding Italian words: Penne Arrabbiata, Mussels with Fregola, Gorgonzola Gnocchi al Forno, and many more.

Beautifully bold and detailed illustrations by Alice Oehr make this more than a cookbook – it’s a work of pasta-art. It’s also the third in Alice and Deborah’s -Topia Series, following Ramen-topia and Taco-topia. Pick up a copy and join the cult of Pasta-farianism now.

About the author

Alice Oehr is a designer and illustrator from Melbourne, Australia.

Deborah Kaloper is a California-raised, Melbourne-based sought-after food stylist, prop stylist and recipe developer. Her passion for all things food started at the age of six with her first cookbook given to her by her grandmother, Nonie. A former breakfast and pastry chef, Deb works daily with top photographers, chefs, food writers and brands, styling their food for books, magazines and advertising. In her down-time you can find her up early walking along the ocean to catch the sunrise and trying to perfect her Nonie’s Croatian Easter bread.
